Full Time Live-In Nanny! 

Seeking a highly experienced and proactive live-in nanny to join a family with four children, aged 4 months, 2.5 years, 5.5 years, and 7.5 years.  This role requires a nanny who can connect well with the children, understand their needs, and work closely with the mother, who is home and available to assist as needed. Children are in school during the day. Mom needs help navigating through the morning routine. The Nanny will primarily care for the baby during the day. Local candidates are welcome to go home on the weekends. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive and proactive care for all four children, including the infant.

• Engage in age-appropriate learning activities and enforce screen time rules.

• Assist with setting up and maintaining routines for the children.

• Handle light housekeeping duties, including:

• Children's laundry

• Meal preparation for the children

• Cleaning up after meals

• Unpacking groceries

• Tidying children’s play areas and bedrooms

• Transport children to activities using the parents' minivan.

• Be comfortable handling a food allergy, including the use of an EPI pen if necessary (peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame).

• Ensure the children’s safety at all times, including adherence to household rules and routines.

Schedule :

• Split Schedule : 6:30 AM - 1:00PM. (Break 1-3 PM, flexible) then 3PM-7:30

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week

• Start ASAP

Compensation : $30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Benefits : 2 weeks paid vacation, 2-4 sick/personal days, major holidays off and paid.

Live-in accommodations: separate bedroom/bathroom.

Qualifications:

• 2- Plus years of Substantial experience in childcare, with the ability to anticipate family needs and independently manage daily responsibilities.

• CPR/First Aid certification.

• Up-to-date on standard vaccines, including Covid and T-dap.

• Non-smoker.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to drive the parents' minivan for children’s activities.

• Comfort with food allergies and using an EPI pen.

• Must be comfortable with a collaborative environment, working alongside the mother.

• The family enjoys going to the community pool and may install a pool next year, so the nanny must be able to swim.
