We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Insurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our agency, you will be responsible for issuing policies across our various insurance companies on behalf of our insurance advisors. You will also provide support to clients who would like us to reshop their insurance, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible coverage and rates. Responsibilities:

• Issue policies across various insurance companies on behalf of our insurance advisors, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Support clients who would like us to reshop their insurance, providing personalized service and recommendations
• Collaborate with insurance advisors to ensure seamless policy issuance and client satisfaction
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of policy issuance and client interactions
• Utilize web portals and online communication tools (e.g. Slack, Teams, Agency Zoom) to communicate with advisors, clients, and insurance companies
• Stay current with industry developments, insurance company changes, and regulatory requirements
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Licensed for P&C Insurance (or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire)
• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance, preferably in a similar role
• Strong understanding of personal lines insurance products and coverages
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in web portals and online communication tools (e.g. Slack, Teams, Agency Zoom)
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple insurance companies and their respective systems
• Knowledge of industry-standard software and systems
• Certification in personal lines insurance (e.g. CPCU, CIC)
• Experience with online communication tools and web portals
