Schlouch Inc. has been Eastern PAs leading site/civil contractor since 1983 and is still growing! We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable person to join our team as a Laborer on a pipe crew and grading crew. A Laborer on a pipe crew and grading crew will be expected to perform tasks involving underground utility installation on residential and commercial job sites in a 70 mile radius of Reading, PA. The Laborer position has excellent potential for growth and advancement and is well suited to the individual looking to grow their career in the trade industry. Mentoring and training will be provided to the ideal candidate.
**The ideal Laborer candidate is expected to do or learn the following:**
* Work independently and as a member of a crew on active job sites
* Perform manual/physical labor/lift at least 50 pounds
* Work in varied weather and site conditions including confined spaces
* Use basic hand and power tools
* Understand basic math and ability to read a tape measure
* Understanding or willingness to learn pipe materials, blue prints, cut sheets, transit, level and laser
